Purchasing the rights to the
Seattle Pilots in 1970,
Milwaukee began the only
organization in pro sports to
have a beverage for a
mascot. The Brewers
or "brew crew" as they have
come to be known, have
made
only one playoff appearance
since their innaugural season
in '70 but what an exciting
one
it was. With the best record of
1982, Milwaukee beat the
California Angels in the ALCS
to advance to the world
series. Though they fell to the
St. Louis Cardinals, there
were some great players on
the team. Players like Hall of
Famer Robin Yount and
Gorman Thomas. Other
greats who have worn the
Milwaukee uniform are Paul
Molitor, Rollie Fingers and
Hank Aaron. Thanks for

Brewers
