Prior to Dan Reeves arrival in
Denver, there was one super
bowl run under Red Miller.
This team featured the talent
of standout QB Craig Morton.
Morton's former team the
Dallas Cowboys beat Denver
handily in the ball game by
great defense. Reeves, one
of the most noted NFL
coaches in history was an
assistant coach for Dallas in
that super bowl win. Under
Reeves the Broncos utilized a
very potent offense and a
great defense which earned
the nickname "Orange
Crush". This combined for
a great Broncos Team.
Winning
seasons, though elusive since
Reeve's tenure, has returned
to Denver. Under new coach
and former Reeves assistant
Mike Shanahan, the Broncos
reached a new level of
excellence. Utilizing the
talents of aging pro John
Elway and the running of
Terrell Davis, the Broncos
captured a World
Championship in successive
years (1997 and '98). Thank
