the New Orleans Saints franchise has had an interesting history. From the years when they were known as the "aints"--fans attending ball games with paper bags over their heads out of shame and disgust for the organization--to the the mora years of success. Playoff appearances for the franchise have been few and far between. There is optimism once again in New Orleans, however because of recent moves made by the club.
